Musician Lil Pazo has appealed to National Unity Platform (NUP) president Bobi Wine to rally support for his upcoming music festival in Mbarara.
The concert is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, at University Inn, with Pazzo hoping to attract a strong audience for the event.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Pazo said he has no personal problem with Bobi Wine, but rather with some of the NUP leader's supporters whom he referred to as “footsoldiers.”
The musician maintained that he respects Bobi Wine and appealed to him to listen to his concerns and support his upcoming show.
“Please Bobi Wine, rally support for me. I have no problem with you, my issue is with footsoldiers. I respect you and will always be in support of whatever you do. Listen to my plea,” he partly said.
Pazo's appeal comes amid social media calls by some individuals urging NUP supporters to boycott concerts by musicians perceived to support or associate with the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).
The musician's request to Bobi Wine comes as he seeks to ensure that the political tensions surrounding some artistes do not affect his upcoming Mbarara concert.
