Social media pastor Apostle Jonathan Nalebo has opened up about life after separating from his former wife, Enid Mirembe, saying he has no regrets about ending their marriage and feels happier and freer than he did during their seven-year union.
Nalebo announced the end of the marriage on social media about a year ago, taking responsibility for the shortcomings that contributed to the breakdown of their relationship.
Speaking in a recent conversation, the apostle said life after the separation has given him a new sense of freedom, allowing him to do things he claims he could not comfortably do while married.
He explained that he no longer has to account for his movements, joking that he can return home at any time without facing questions about where he has been.
“I can now go home at 4am. But those days they’d ask where you’re coming from,” he said.
Nalebo also revealed that he can now freely take pictures inside his home. He claimed that during their marriage, Mirembe discouraged him from doing so because she feared the images could reveal their residence to the public.
“But right now, I own where I stay,” he added.
His remarks offer a glimpse into how he says his life has changed since the separation, although Mirembe’s response to his latest comments was not included.
