Mary Luswata criticises Sheebah Karungi over her relationship with Jaffar, accusing the singer of interfering in another woman’s marriage.

Mary Luswata says she misses television despite the mental toll of her former on-air role, revealing how her BBC production experience renewed her passion for TV.

The former political aide to the late Muhammad Ssegirinya explained that he chose to contest for the position to better serve his people.

In an interview with a local television station, Luswa made the announcement, revealing he is ready to unseat Elias Nalukoola from parliament in the general elections next year.

Luwemba now claims that artistes in the National Unity Platform will not be given party tickets in their respective constituencies, revealing that they are broke.

In an interview with a local YouTuber, Luswa explained that contesting for the biggest office is something he is seriously considering.

Justice Bernard Namanya ruled that the by-election held in March 2025 failed to comply with the Parliamentary Elections Act, noting that irregularities significantly affected the outcome.

Alex Luwemba has accused the National Unity Platform party of asking for money from him in exchange for the party ticket.

Alex Luswa polled only 240 votes and emerged fourth in the by-election, losing to NUP's Nalukoola, who polled 17,764.

He explained that he has not lost his NUP party card, just like Chairman Nyanzi Sentamu, who has never lost his NRM party card.
