Up-and-coming musician Pia Pounds has opened up about her life struggles and the challenges she faced during lockdown.
Pounds explained that she couldn't pay rent for three months, and her landlord compelled her to sell her household items to cover the rent arrears.
She sold these items in various WhatsApp and Facebook groups.
"It was tough during lockdown, going three months without paying rent. I had to sell my household belongings to clear the arrears, and I didn't use brokers. I posted in WhatsApp groups and Facebook," she said during an interview with a local radio station.
Pounds also mentioned that her friends didn't assist her despite promises made; they kept promising but never delivered on their commitments.
