Musician King Saha has praised veteran singer Mesach Semakula for his generosity and willingness to support fellow artistes without expecting anything in return.
Semakula is set to celebrate his 50th birthday with a concert at Kingdom Kampala on November 13, 2026, an event that has attracted support from several figures in Uganda’s music industry.
During a press conference held on Thursday to promote the upcoming concert, various artistes and industry stakeholders gathered to show their support for the veteran musician and celebrate his contribution to the industry.
Among those who praised him was King Saha, who described Semakula as a kind and unselfish person who readily helps others.
Saha said Semakula’s willingness to support fellow musicians without expecting favours in return sets him apart from many others in the industry.
“I like Paapa Mesach Semakula because of his character. He is a kind person and unselfish, unlike other musicians. He helps you without expecting anything in return. He is a man with a big heart, and that is the reason we have all gathered here today,” Saha said in part.
