I was mocked by the people I helped - Bryan White

Socialite Bryan White made a return to Uganda early this month after spending years in exile reportedly in Dubai.

White now says he was abandoned by the people he helped and those he supported. He also accused some of mocking him when he got into trouble with the government.

"People experience moments of abundance and scarcity just like I did. It's unfortunate that during my time of difficulties, even the people I offered help were nowhere to be seen. Some even mocked me, but I am standing strong," he said in an interview with a local television.

Bryan White, however, says he learned his lessons, and the hard times he experienced helped him to understand humans even more.
