Over the weekend, President Museveni revealed that Big Talent boss, Eddy Kenzo, was the biological son of NRA historical figure Chefe Ali.
President Museveni's revelation shocked many people and netizens because Kenzo has long portrayed himself as the son of a peasant.
In a press briefing, Kenzo opened up, revealing that he is indeed the biological son of Chefe Ali. He confirmed this paternity after doing DNA tests, which showed he was not the son of the late Kyewalabye Hassan, whom he had long believed was his father.
Kenzo explained that he exhumed a bone of the late Kyewalabye and took it to Dubai for DNA testing to determine paternity, and the results confirmed that he was not related to him.
"You all know my background; I grew up on the streets and started working for myself at a tender age. I only learned about Kyewalabye Hassan as my father when I was already grown up. However, a few years back, things changed, and different people came with proof that I was a son of Chefe Ali. I was forced to do DNA tests on the late Kyewalabye. I exhumed a bone and took it as a sample to Dubai for tests, and there was no link between us whatsoever," he explained as he addressed the press on Sunday evening.
Kenzo, however, says he remains a man of both families and carries respect for the two.
