Mudra Is the Most Talented Songwriter – Karole Kasita

Musician Karole Kasita has showered praise on singer and songwriter Mudra, describing him as the most talented songwriter in Uganda’s dancehall music scene.

Kasita, who has previously worked with Mudra on several projects, said his writing skills and creativity set him apart from the rest.

“Mudra is one of the most talented artistes. He is very humble and people don’t know how gifted he is. He wrote my song ‘Yaka’ in about thirty minutes. I feel very comfortable working with him. I think he is the most talented songwriter,” Kasita said in an interview with a local YouTuber.

She added that “Yaka” remains her most special collaboration with Mudra, as it marked a turning point in her career.

“Of all the songs we have done together, ‘Yaka’ stands out for me. It was my breakthrough song and introduced me to the industry. It also reignited my spirit,” she added.

Mudra continues to build a strong reputation not only as a performer but also as one of Uganda’s most sought-after songwriters, working with several top artistes across the country.
