Kasuku Secures UGX 5 Billion for Content Creators SACCO From President Museveni

President Yoweri Museveni over the weekend agreed to inject five billion Uganda shillings into a SACCO formed by content creators.

During a discussion held at Kisozi Farm, media personality Kasuku revealed that together with fellow digital creators, they had established a SACCO and were seeking financial support from the President to boost their operations.

In his address, President Museveni welcomed the idea and pledged UGX 5 billion towards the initiative. The announcement attracted loud cheers from the youth who had gathered for the engagement.

The President further agreed to meet Kasuku next week to continue discussions regarding the SACCO funding and its implementation.

Kasuku believes that if content creators are fully supported financially, they can drive massive development among the youth and contribute positively to the country’s economic growth.
