Musician Mansur Ssemanda, popularly known as King Saha, has reconciled with former presidential candidate Mubarak Munyagwa, ending months of public disagreement.
Earlier this year, the two were involved in a verbal exchange after King Saha accused Munyagwa of turning politics into comedy by contesting for Uganda's highest office.
At the time, King Saha alleged that Munyagwa's presidential bid was intended to split opposition votes that he believed should have gone to National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Bobi Wine.
However, the pair have now buried the hatchet following what they described as a gentleman's agreement.
As a sign of their renewed friendship, King Saha invited Munyagwa to attend his upcoming concert, an invitation the former presidential candidate gladly accepted.
Munyagwa also pledged to purchase a VIP table at King Saha's concert, which is scheduled to take place on August 14 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
The reconciliation has been welcomed by fans, who hope it marks the beginning of a stronger relationship between the two public figures.
