Socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan, popularly known as the Bosslady, has advised women to be careful about having children with their partners, urging them to be financially prepared to raise their children independently.
Zari said women should be “stingy” with their wombs and think carefully before having children, especially as the number of single mothers continues to rise.
“I know you think that you love him. You think that if you have a baby with him, he’s never gonna walk away. Oh, he will walk away,” Zari warned.
She claimed that some men change their attitude once a woman becomes pregnant, with some allegedly abandoning their partners or pressuring them to terminate the pregnancy.
“They will beg you to get pregnant but when you do, they’ll start running around. ‘Oh, we need to abort. I didn’t tell you I was married,’” she said.
Zari, however, clarified that her warning should not be taken as a blanket judgment against all men.
“Don’t get me wrong, there are still good men out there. Providing men, and it could be good for you,” she added.
Her comments encouraged women to consider their financial stability and the responsibility of raising a child before starting a family with a partner.
