Veteran singer, Dan Kazibwe, aka Ragga Dee is the NRM flag-bearer for the Kampala Mayor seat. The "Parliament" singer beat his closest rival, Captain Francis Babu by 2,812 votes.
Asked on whether he will continue with his singing career, Ragga Dee compared himself to the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger who is an Austrian-American actor and director, businessman, investor and now politician.

"I will also sing as Ragga Dee and also serve my people as Mayor Dan Kazibwe" -- he added!
Ragga Dee will next year be tussling it out with the current Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, who has expressed interest in running for the seat. NTV presenter, Miles Apuuli Rwamiti has been fronted by FDC to take on Lukwago and Ragga Dee.
