On Friday, a section of comedians gathered at Royal Suites in Bugolobi to discuss the possibility of starting a federation.
The meeting was called by comedian Alex Muhangi, but things didn’t go as he had planned. Muhangi told comedians that for one to become a member of the federation, he/she must pay 100,000Ugx
This didn’t go well with the attendees as they opined that it was too high.
Comedians suggested that the membership fee should be reduced to 20,000Ugx
The meeting was adjourned without a substantive conclusion.
