Musician Zulitums has revealed that he does not identify with any particular religion, saying he draws knowledge and understanding from different faiths instead of limiting himself to one.
Speaking in an interview with a local podcast, Zulitums explained that he was exposed to different religious backgrounds while growing up but no longer considers himself committed to any specific faith.
“I was born a Protestant, but then I was once a Catholic as well. I’m circumcised, and those who did it are Muslims, and I was named Mustapha. I have been born again before, but I can tell you, they are just pathways,” he said.
The musician described religions as different pathways through which people seek understanding. He added that he takes lessons from various faiths as he continues to explore his own understanding of life and spirituality.
Zulitums also argued that everyone has something they believe in, including people who identify as atheists.
“Everyone has something that they believe in, and even those who say they are atheists, they don’t want to admit the fact that there’s a little bit of belief in what they do,” he added.
His comments offer his personal perspective on religion and belief, suggesting that he values learning from different spiritual traditions rather than subscribing exclusively to one.
