Kadongo kamu singer and music promoter Salongo Siraje's concert flopped at Lugogo Cricket Oval over the weekend.
The show didn't attract the crowds he had anticipated, and the venue only drew vendors and other service providers.
Salongo, however, says he didn't organize the concert to make money. His intention was to celebrate with the fans who love and have supported him all the years he has been doing music.
"I have other routes that bring me money, and I didn't organize the concert to make money. I am grateful for the people who turned up, and I was very happy to celebrate with them because those are the people who have always supported me," he partly said in a video making rounds on social media.
Salongo Siraje also emphasized he will be organizing a show at Lugogo Cricket Oval every year.
