Upcoming singer Gloria Bugie was released on Wednesday evening from Jinja Road Police Station following her arrest on Tuesday night.
The "Nyash" hitmaker claimed that promoter Abitex was behind her arrest and bribed police officers to expedite it.
"It’s Abitex who masterminded the arrest. He caused this and even bribed the police officers to act quickly. I think next time they should just write to me—I’ll go there instead of a forced arrest," she stated while addressing the media.
Gloria Bugie added that she was wrongfully detained and is considering legal action to seek remedies for the damage to her brand.
