Musicians Dax Vibez and Mikie Wine were reportedly arrested in the early hours of Monday morning while returning from a performance in Jinja.
The exact reason for their arrest is currently unknown, but reports indicate they were apprehended around 2:00 AM this morning after performing at Baaba FM's "Ekitunda" event.
In a video circulating online, the two artists are seen in a heated discussion with police officers at a police station.
Members of the Firebase crew have already taken to social media, calling for the release of the two artists.
