On Monday night, musician Dax Vibez confirmed he and Mike Wine were freed from jail after their arrest in the early hours of Monday.
According to a police report, the two musicians were arrested following a scuffle involving them and various individuals from Jinja City. It's particularly said that Dax Vibez was arrested after physically assaulting one Ibrah Hussein, which led to their apprehension.
The police report indicates that the two artistes were freed on bond as investigations into the matter continue.
Dax Vibez confirmed his release through social media, thanking his team and management for their efforts in securing his freedom. "Thank you God, my team, and the people of Busoga. I'm finally out of jail," he wrote on Monday night.
Reports indicate Mike Wine was instantly released following the arrest on Monday morning, as he had to seek medical attention.
The two artistes were arrested after a performance at the "Ekituda" event, staged by Baaba Media Group in Jinja.
