Singer Tracy Melon has spoken out following the controversy surrounding her abrupt exit from a performance in Mbarara.
The singer had cut her show short after a fan allegedly touched her inappropriately while she was on stage—an incident that sparked mixed reactions online.
Addressing the matter, Tracy Melon apologized to fans who felt disappointed but insisted her reaction was justified.
“I apologise to my fans because I let some of them down, but I was reacting to the disrespect I faced. It is the most disrespectful thing which has happened to me before,” she said.
She emphasized that the incident left her feeling humiliated, prompting her to immediately walk off stage.
Tracy Melon also revealed that her management is currently in talks with the Mbarara-based promoter to resolve the situation and ensure better coordination in future events.
At the same time, she issued a warning to fans, urging them to respect artists during performances.
