The Ministry of Health has officially cleared Karole Kasita’s concert, The Power Within, to take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, as earlier scheduled.
The concert, which will be held at Kampala Serena Hotel, had faced uncertainty due to ongoing public health concerns and restrictions linked to the Ebola outbreak in Uganda.
However, a statement released by Karole Kasita’s manager, Arnold Apple Ssempijja, confirmed that the event will proceed following approval from the Ministry of Health.
According to the clearance issued by the Director General of Health Services, Prof. Charles Olaro, the concert has been allowed to continue under strict health and safety measures aimed at preventing the spread of Ebola.
Attendees have been advised to follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and public health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health during the event.
In the statement, the ministry acknowledged the organizers for notifying authorities and putting measures in place to ensure public safety during the mass gathering.
Organizers were also advised to work closely with Dr. JB Waniaye Nambohe, Commissioner for Emergency Medical Services, who is overseeing the Mass Gathering Sub-Pillar under the national Ebola response team.
Karole Kasita has promised fans a memorable performance at what will be one of the biggest highlights of her music career so far, with several guest performers expected to join the show.
