Musician Chris Evans Kaweesi has announced plans to stage a concert later this year, setting up a potential clash with legendary singer Jose Chameleone.
The band musician revealed that his concert will take place on December 4, 2026, a date that has already attracted significant attention within Uganda’s entertainment industry.
Although Chris Evans has confirmed the date, he is yet to unveil the venue and other details surrounding the event.
His announcement comes amid ongoing discussions about December 4, a date that has also been linked to Jose Chameleone’s highly anticipated concert. Earlier this year, singer Nina Roz similarly announced plans to hold her maiden concert on the same day.

Earlier this week, Chameleone announced that he had stepped away from a planned December 4 booking at Lugogo Cricket Oval after reports suggested a possible clash with King Saha. However, King Saha later clarified that he had no intentions of staging a concert on that date.
With Chris Evans and Nina Roz both maintaining plans for December 4, questions remain about how the entertainment calendar will eventually shape up and whether any of the artists will reconsider their schedules.
