Music producer D’Mario has praised singer and songwriter Dokta Brain, describing him as one of Uganda's most talented yet underappreciated musicians.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, D’Mario was asked about some of the easiest artistes he has worked with and singled out Dokta Brain for his speed, perfectionism and songwriting ability.
“He is a perfectionist and works very quickly. He doesn't even take over 30 minutes on a song,” D’Mario partly said.
According to the producer, Dokta Brain has quietly contributed to Uganda's music industry over the years, writing and featuring on several songs despite not receiving the recognition he deserves.
D’Mario Praises King Saha
D’Mario also had high praise for King Saha, whom he described as another exceptional artiste he has worked with.
He highlighted Saha's willingness to explore different creative directions rather than confining himself to a single musical style.
“Whenever Saha starts jotting down a song, I see another direction. He is not always pinned in one genre; he is always looking to diversify,” he added.
Meanwhile, Dokta Brain is preparing for his debut concert, scheduled for September at Skyz Hotel, Naguru, where he will look to showcase his musical journey to his fans.
