Legendary band musician Mesach Semakula has praised his wife for standing by him for more than two decades as he prepares for his milestone concert celebrating 50 years in music.
Speaking in an interview with local media, Semakula reflected on his marriage and credited his wife for supporting him throughout the years without publicly exposing his personal weaknesses.
“My wife, for the years I have been with her, has stood with me for over twenty years. She has never gone public about my weaknesses. She has been very supportive, and I really need to thank her ahead of this celebration,” he said.
Semakula made the remarks while expressing gratitude to the different people who have played a major role in his music career.
The veteran musician said his wife’s continued support has been an important part of his journey as he marks five decades in the music industry.
