Singer Ykee Benda and Producer Nessim started their careers at Badi Music owned by Lukyamuzi Bashir.
The two took separate directions after their breakthroughs about three years ago.
Nessim started his production studio called Short Gun Records while Ykee Benda started a record label Mpaka Records.
The two are on good terms and respect each other because of what they have achieved in their respective careers.
According to Ykee Benda, he hasn’t seen a better producer in Uganda than Nessim.
"I haven’t seen any producer who is like him in Uganda. We have so much talent, but I think his touch is the best,” Ykee Benda said in a radio interview.
