As the year winds down, conversations in the music industry naturally turn to reflection — what worked, what moved the culture, and who truly shaped the soundscape.
For Aaronix, one thing is clear: behind every great song is a producer who understands the moment. This year, a handful of producers didn’t just make beats; they defined moods and elevated artistes.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Aaronix ranked his best producers of the year, mentioning them in no particular order. The list includes Nessim Pan Production, Producer Ope, Daddy Andre, and Bass Boi.
According to Aaronix, Nessim Pan Production made a massive contribution to the industry this year, praising his depth and consistency, which he believes set the benchmark for many producers.
He also highlighted Producer Ope, noting that although young, he has shown great musical knowledge and a bright future. Aaronix pointed to Ope’s work on Cindy Sanyu’s “See You Tonight” featuring Omega 256 as a standout production.
Aaronix went on to give flowers to Daddy Andre, applauding him for staying active and relevant in the industry without taking a back seat.
He reserved special praise for Bass Boi, whom he says made a major breakthrough this year by producing several hit songs and topping the charts.
“I think Nessim has remained consistent over the years, then this young producer Ope who did well with ‘See You Tonight’. Daddy Andre never looked back, and Bass Boi — I think he topped the year with hits,” Aaronix explained.
His remarks have since sparked discussions among music fans, with many agreeing that producers played a major role in defining the year’s biggest sounds.
