Staging Concerts Every Year Doesn't Make Sense - Bebe Cool

Gagamel Entertainment boss Bebe Cool has questioned the growing trend of artists organizing annual concerts, saying the practice places unnecessary financial pressure on fans.

Speaking during an interview with a local television station, the veteran musician said concerts should be reserved for major career milestones rather than becoming yearly events.

According to Bebe Cool, artists should give fans a compelling reason to buy concert tickets instead of holding shows after every new release.

"I don't like the idea of staging a concert every year. It just doesn't make sense to me. Even after releasing one song, you call people for a concert. You just drain the fans. It's better to have a concert after making a significant impression, maybe after releasing an album," he partly explained.

Bebe Cool argued that concerts should celebrate major achievements, such as the release of an album or another landmark in an artist's career, making the experience more meaningful for both performers and fans.

The singer also revealed that he is planning a major concert at Kololo Independence Grounds next year, saying the show will celebrate his journey with fans after nearly six years without staging a headline concert.
