Bukomansimbi Woman MP, Susan Namaganda has died following a road accident on Thursday night.
The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga announced Namaganda’s death saying,
“The Speaker Rt. Hon. @RebeccaKadaga announces with deep sorrow the death of Bukomansimbi Woman MP, Hon.Susan Namaganda.”
When contacted on phone, Parliament Communications Chief, Chris Obore confirmed saying:
“She is dead.” Namaganda passed on at Nakasero hospital on Friday morning.
The deceased’s husband and East Africa Legislative Assembly MP, Mukasa Mbidde today morning revealed that,
“Hon Susan Namaganda together with two others have had an accident after the vehicle they were travelling was knocked off the road along Mpigi by another vehicle whose registration number is not yet known.”
He added: “She is in critical condition here at Nakasero Hospital.
