Celebrated comedian Patrick Salvador Idringi will mark 15 years in comedy this year with a grand celebration scheduled for October 25th at Kingdom Kampala.
The event will bring together top comedians from across Africa, who will join Salvador and several Ugandan acts to celebrate this major milestone in his career.
Despite the celebration, Salvador clarified that he is not retiring from comedy anytime soon. He emphasized that he is still passionate about his craft and remains focused on contributing to the growth of Uganda’s comedy industry.
“I don’t have plans of retiring from comedy. It’s something I’m still seriously involved in. The event is to celebrate how far I’ve come, not to mark my retirement,” he explained in an interview with a local television station.
However, Salvador revealed that when he eventually retires, he plans to venture into farming, which he currently practices on a small scale.
“When I retire, I think I’ll go into farming. It’s something I’m already doing on a small scale, but I plan to expand it and take it on fully,” he added.
Salvador’s upcoming event is expected to be one of the biggest comedy shows of the year, celebrating his impact and longevity in the industry.
