Award-winning gospel musician Levixone has opened up about how Bobi Wine inspired him to dream big and believe in himself while growing up in the ghettos of Kampala.
Levixone revealed that the National Unity Platform (NUP) president, real name Robert Kyagulanyi, greatly influenced his ambition and determination to succeed.
Speaking to the media, Levixone said Bobi Wine’s love and connection to the ghetto made him believe that greatness could come from humble beginnings.
“I thank God for connecting me with the Sentamu family. I knew Bobi Wine before I even knew his brothers. He inspired me to believe that I can make it from Kosovo. He made me realize I could go as far as I want, and that’s why I respect him so much,” Levixone said.
Levixone added that Bobi Wine later linked him up with his brothers Mike Wine and Dax Vibes, and their relationship has since grown stronger.
“They are no longer just friends — they are my brothers,” he added.
Levixone continues to use his music to inspire young people from the ghetto to chase their dreams and stay focused, just like Bobi Wine once did.
