Songstress Fille Mutoni has opened up about the silent battles she’s fighting after rehabilitation — and her confession is as heartbreaking as it is powerful.
The once-glamorous star revealed that life after rehab has been quiet, lonely, and deeply reflective. According to Fille, she is currently staying with media personality MC Kats, having deliberately cut off almost everything that once defined her celebrity lifestyle — including social media, films, and the spotlight.
“At the moment, I don’t even have a phone. I just stay at home and live with MC Kats. I’m away from the media and everything. I only leave the house when I have a performance. The rest of the time, I reflect and pray,” Fille shared during an interview with a local TV station.
Behind the scenes of the fame, Fille says the music industry can be an extremely lonely place — and that loneliness is what pushes many artistes into addiction.
“We have millions of followers but zero real friends. You leave the stage and there’s no one to talk to. You live in isolation and that’s how addiction starts. Friends only come for financial benefits — same with family, except your mother and father,” she added.
From the stage lights to silent nights, Fille’s story is a sobering reminder that celebrity doesn’t cancel pain.
