Dancehall musician Karole Kasita has revealed that she briefly considered cancelling her concert following the Ministry of Health’s announcement suspending public events due to the Ebola outbreak in Uganda.
Karole is expected to perform tonight at Kampala Serena Hotel during her highly anticipated concert, The Power Within.
Speaking about the situation, the singer said the ministry’s announcement initially caused uncertainty around the event, forcing her team to seek clarification before proceeding with preparations.
“I considered cancelling the concert after the Ministry of Health announcement, but I don’t give up easily. Since my show wasn’t specifically mentioned, I sought clarity and proceeded after understanding the guidelines,” she explained.
The Ministry of Health later cleared the concert to continue under strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at preventing the spread of Ebola.
Organizers and attendees have been urged to comply with all health guidelines during the event to ensure public safety.
Karole Kasita’s concert marks a major milestone in her music career and is expected to attract a large number of fans and entertainment figures.
