Following the ‘Battle of Champions’ event that saw Bebe Cool and GoodLife duo (Radio & Weasel) battle musically on the same stage on December 6th, the two parties who have been having issues in the previous years, had a roundtable negotiation and buried the hatchet.
When Bebe Cool brought to light the good news of “no more beef” with Radio & Weasel, fan hungrily wanted to know the raison d’être of the reconciliation. During a radio interview with Hot100FM’s King Shovon, Bebe Cool spoke out on why he reconciled with Radio & Weasel.
“After the battle, you tend to appreciate how the other person is and each person knows where they belong. So it becomes easy to reconcile. And after the battle, there was total respect for each other.” – Bebe Cool
The multi-award winning artistes also added…
“After the battle, our managers met and discussed about a few things because during the battle, everything was okay; no fights backstage, no anything bad. So the road to reconcile was easy.”
