Jamaican singer Windel Beneto Edwards better known by his stage name as Gyptian joins a list of international acts that have turned down a performance in Uganda at short notice.
The hold You hitmaker was slated to perform at the newly renovated Paniel beach located in Entebbe in the dubbed Entebbe Reggae Fest on Boxing Day.

According to the local promoter, Gyptian failed to get on a plane on time and had also booked another show in his home county at the same time.
"This canceling came out of short notice yet we had even arranged a meet and greet on 24th which he could make up for" he added.
Gyptian on his Instagram handle the “realgyptian” has echoed his opinions throwing apologies to his fans in Uganda and attributes the failure to his Management and promoter.
