Zambian artist Mampi jetted into the country to perform at the Eddy Kenzo festival which is set to take place this Saturday at Kololo Airstrip.
Mampi who featured Bobi Wine's song titled "why," said she is glad his friend joined active politics.
She explained singing about injustices and inequality is just not enough, those who can join politics for the betterment of their societies should go ahead.
"I support his idea of joining politics and the arts industry should participate actively in politics. We can sing about the things in societies but we can go ahead and change them," Mampi said when asked to speak about Bobi Wine's participation in active politics in an interview with journalists.
