Rapper Navio has scoffed at promoters who recently put his name on a list of musicians who deserve money below a million for shows.
The promoters said Navio should be getting Shs 500,000.
The rapper has responded by saying it was probably a joke that shouldn’t be taken seriously.
“You can’t give me 500k. I have about 4 cars at my home. I spend roughly about that amount fueling them per week to run my home,” he bragged.
Navio also said he might be underrated but he is one of Uganda’s greats.
“I earn some good money if we are to count pound for pound. I love it when people underrate me then when I do things they get surprised,” he concluded.
Navio is one of the richest rappers in the country. He owns several businesses including apartments in Lubowa, Seguku, and Munyonyo.
