Musician Naava Grey is a Muslim woman who loves and cherishes her religion, with deep appreciation for Allah.
The singer revealed that she prays five times a day, and it is prayer that has kept her going despite the many challenges that come with being a musician.
The singer says no one should be ashamed of the Islamic faith because it is beautiful.
"Islam is a very good religion, and you shouldn't hide that. I pray five times a day, and it's beautiful," she explained.
Naava adds that she wouldn't be able to write without prayer. She almost gave up on her first song, "Nterede," but she prayed, and the words began to flow.
"I don't think I would write if I didn't pray. I remember when I was tasked with writing 'Nterede,' I was afraid because it was my first project, but I prayed, and the words started flowing. Don't give up on God because He is your Lord, and He will keep holding you," she explained.
Naava Grey called upon fellow industry members to remain committed to Allah for all the good things.
