Musician Catherine Kusasira is outspoken. She is someone who doesn't shy away from cameras and always speaks out whenever the opportunity arises. The singer has now called out Maama Fiina over her personal character.
Catherine Kusasira revealed that during her concert at Hotel Africana, Maama Fiina announced to the audience that she was giving her money that would "change her life." She implied the money inside would be a turning point from financial hurdles for Kusasira and her husband.
In her mind, Kusasira thought the money in question was a substantial amount because, as a person living an expensive lifestyle, she expected Maama Fiina to know her "price tag." However, she was shocked to find only two-thousand-shilling notes, which amounted to one million Ugandan shillings.
"I thought she had put like 100 million in the envelope. When someone tells me she wants to change my life and my husband’s, I just know the money is a lot because I’m not cheap. You look at me and know I have been taking care of myself. I received the envelope myself and didn’t delegate anyone. If someone had picked it for me, I would have said they had stolen money from it,” she explained.
Catherine Kusasira cautioned Maama Fiina to stop raising people's expectations when she hasn't given them a significant amount of cash.
