Chagga has undertaken various roles in the Ugandan music industry. He has been an artist himself, a music promoter, manager, producer, among other things.
However, he has not been overwhelmingly successful at any of them. He mainly operates behind the scenes.
Chagga, however, says he has not been appreciated by Ugandan artists and feels he hasn't been valued for his contribution to the growth of different artists.
He says his contribution to a number of them has been tremendous and he should be receiving recognition at this time.
"I have done a lot of things for artists in this industry but have not been appreciated enough. I have not been given what I deserve; I have not been valued for what I have done, and it's painful," he explained.
Chagga is one of the founders of the Leone Island crew and has previously worked with Jose Chameleone, Weasel, King Saha, Sama Sojah, Pallaso, among others.
He is currently alleged to be working with Jeff Kiwa's Team No Sleep.
