Legendary musician Halima Namakula is Rema's music godmother. She introduced her to music at a very tender age and continues to guide her today.
Halima Namakula is also always quick to defend Rema and is very confident about her.
Speaking while appearing on Bruno K's TikTok show, Halima Namakula explained that Rema is still a young girl; she is seen as old because of her significant success at her age.
The legendary artiste says Rema took on motherhood responsibilities at a tender age, something which also makes her seem older.
"Rema Namakula is a very young girl; she is a 'baby' who has simply achieved a lot, and this makes her seem older. She also took on responsibility at a young age, and that's the reason different people think she is old," she explained.
Halima Namakula spoke as she prepares for her historic concert set to take place on July 26th of this year at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
