Media personality Zambali Bulasio Mukasa on Thursday this week picked nomination forms from National Unity Platform headquarters to express interest for the Nansana Municipality MP position.
The former NBS Television host and news anchor explained he is the only one capable of representing the constituents and deserves to be endorsed by the party.
Zambali says his opponents have no chance of winning the party ticket because he is strong on the ground and has also performed the party's tasks to expectations.
"I have been working for the good of my party. I am strong on the ground because I was asked by the voters to contest. Whoever is opposing me has no chance, and I am confident of winning the party ticket," he explained.
Bulasio Mukasa faces stiff competition from incumbent Wakayima Musoke, Big Eye, Serukuma John Bosco, among others.
