Daddy Andre has been in the news this year for not-so-good reasons. Earlier on, he was accused by Liam Voice of making off with his song, and now Aaronix has come forward with similar accusations.
Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Aaronix explained that what started as a good relationship between him and Andre is no more.
He accused Andre of playing hide-and-seek, telling endless lies, and ignoring his calls for the completion of the song for over four months.
"It's not good to work with him because he doesn't honor contracts. I looked for him, and he would lie that he's in Canada, but he was here in Kampala," Aaronix explained.
The upcoming artist says producers don't value singers or their money, something which stifles the growth of the Ugandan music industry.
"The challenge I've encountered is that some producers don't value our money. I think I even saw Liam Voice complaining about Daddy Andre and his poor working relations," he added.
Aaronix expressed his frustration and says he had to retrieve the song from Andre, take it to a different producer who finished it, and then released the project.
He says that going forward, artists and producers should cooperate and honor contracts because a good relationship breeds unity, which leads to the development of the music industry.
