The Uganda Police Force has responded to the pleas of various individuals who have called for the arrest of Don Chris after he allegedly defrauded them of millions of shillings.
While addressing the media on Monday afternoon, Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed that investigations are ongoing and Don Chris will soon be arrested.
He explained that the search for Don Chris is underway and the self-proclaimed tycoon will be apprehended to face charges related to fraud.
"Different people have approached us regarding the matter of the person commonly known as Don Chris, and the search is on to see him arrested over fraud-related charges," he explained.
The self-proclaimed tycoon Don Chris is currently on the run after allegedly stealing over five hundred million shillings from various youths across the country.
The popular fraudster made off with millions of shillings after promising unemployed youths different jobs outside the country.
Reports indicate he is currently living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The proprietor of Sky Tours and Travel stated that the offices will remain locked and he is not willing to refund the money to the affected youths.
In a TikTok video, Don Chris reportedly mocked the victims, revealing he is powerful, connected within the system, and that they cannot do anything to him.
