Pastor Wilson Bugembe remains grateful to everyone who helped him when he was starting his music career.
Whenever he has the opportunity, he speaks highly of them, as he did this week when discussing Bobi Wine during an interview with NTV Uganda.
During the interview, Bugembe praised Bobi Wine for his contribution to his music career, revealing that Bobi Wine "made him musically."
He explained that Bobi Wine consistently appeared in his music videos, and his presence was always seen as an endorsement, earning Bugembe support and love from Ugandans.
"When I was starting music, he made me big. He appeared in my music videos, and this brought numbers to me because people always wanted to see who was with Bobi Wine. He kind of made me," he explained.
Bugembe, however, also expressed gratitude to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for introducing Universal Primary Education (UPE), revealing that he is a beneficiary.
The pastor also praised the President for bringing freedom of worship to the country, without limiting anyone from practicing the religion they believe in.
"However, I also want many people to know that I am a beneficiary of UPE; it's the reason I went to school, and I thank President Museveni for that, as well as for the freedom of worship. You can worship anywhere you find peace, without restrictions," he added.
Pastor Wilson Bugembe stated that he remains open to both of them and they are always welcome at his worship house in Nansana.
