Shena Skies has been in the music industry for over ten years, writing songs for various artists and also pursuing music as a business.
The singer, however, says she has not been appreciated in the industry, and this has caused her much suffering and trauma.
She described the music industry as a depressing environment that only brings pain to the talented individuals within it.
Shena explained that the music industry is no longer about talent. The talented people are the ones suffering at the expense of the talentless, who have loads of cash to promote their music.
"The industry has not appreciated me. It has only become a depressing place, not only for me, but a lot of artists will tell you the same. It's very hard because talent no longer matters; it's been very hard for me to understand and know that. It's humbling, to say the least, because I felt like I put in what I had to do," she explained.
The singer also again accused various artists of not paying her despite spending days with them in the studio creating their music.
She specifically mentioned Spice Diana and the award-winning Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.
