Producer and singer Daddy Andre has made it clear that he will not be part of his ex-lover Nina Roz’s political campaign in Sembabule District.
The two artists were once romantically involved, with their relationship even receiving blessings from both families. However, the affair later ended amid allegations of infidelity, and both have since moved on to new partners.
Speaking during an interview with a local television station, Daddy Andre said he has no intentions of supporting Nina Roz’s bid for the Sembabule District Woman MP seat unless he is paid for his services.
“I am Daddy Andre, and if you want to book me for your campaigns, I will send you my manager’s number and you send him the money. It’s politics, not a normal event — I have to get paid,” he stated.
Andre emphasized that their past relationship has no influence on his professional decisions, insisting everything between them is now strictly business.
“Our relationship ended, and she has another man now. What we had doesn’t matter anymore — it’s strictly business,” he added.
