Singer Nina Roz has fired back at her ex-lover, producer Daddy Andre, after he publicly stated that he would not support her political campaigns in Sembabule District unless he is paid.
Over the weekend, Daddy Andre revealed he runs music as a business and would only perform or rally support for Nina Roz if compensated.
“I’m doing business, and I will not go there to rally support for her unless I’m paid,” Andre said.
In a sharp response, Nina Roz dismissed his comments, saying Andre is “useless” to her political journey and not needed in any way.
“I have no much comment — he is useless,” Nina Roz said when asked to react to Andre’s statement.
The “Billboard (Oliwa)” singer was officially nominated on Wednesday as a parliamentary candidate for Sembabule District Woman MP in next year’s elections.
Nina Roz also clarified that her political career will not stop her from pursuing music.
“I won’t give up on music. I’ll do it alongside politics, just like President Bobi Wine,” she said during an interview with a local television station.
