Musician Grenade Official has reportedly left Uganda and is now settling in the United Kingdom, allegedly in pursuit of a better life after a slow year musically.
The singer, who failed to release a major hit song this year, is said to have chosen to try his luck abroad as he looks for stability and new opportunities. According to media personality Kasuku, Grenade does not intend to return home anytime soon and may engage in odd jobs while overseas.
Sources further claim that his travel was financed by a close female companion reportedly staying with him in the UK.
Grenade’s decision to exit the country adds to the growing list of Ugandan musicians who have chosen to abandon the music industry temporarily or permanently in search of greener pastures abroad. Some of these include Zex Bilangilangi, Sizza Man, Karitas Kario, Grace Sekamante, among others.
Fans continue to watch closely, hoping Grenade will return rejuvenated — or possibly reinvent himself on the global stage.
