Veteran deejay Nimrod endured a humiliating moment on 21st November after fans turned hostile during King Saha’s concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, forcing him off stage.

Nimrod, who had stepped on stage alongside an emcee to help host the event, faced a violently negative reaction from sections of the crowd who accused him of being pro-NRM and aligned with the government.

The audience—largely dominated by National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters—began pelting him with bottles and other objects, chanting for him to leave the stage.

Despite repeated attempts to calm the crowd and plead for peace, Nimrod was unable to regain control and was eventually forced to exit the platform for safety.

Some attendees claimed that Nimrod is closely associated with Bebe Cool, after he reportedly participated in the launch of the “Unstoppable Campaign” in Kampala, sparking allegations that he had betrayed King Saha and NUP leader Bobi Wine.

The incident has intensified political tensions within the entertainment industry, where divisions between camps continue to spill over into public performances.
