Popular YouTuber Shalom Kaweesi has sparked massive debate after calling out his fellow content creators, accusing them of extreme hypocrisy and obsession with fame.
Speaking openly, Shalom claimed that many Ugandan YouTubers now value likes, views and trending status more than genuine friendships and human life.
“There is a lot of hypocrisy among YouTubers. They treasure likes more than friendships. A Ugandan YouTuber will kill you for views and likes. They consider trending more than anything else,” Shalom said.
The outspoken creator recently found himself in the spotlight after being arrested over cyber harassment allegations, though he was later released on bail. During the drama, reports emerged suggesting he had been betrayed by fellow YouTuber Kasuku Wazabanga.
However, the two later met, talked things through and publicly confirmed that there is no bad blood between them.
