Bobi Wine’s brothers and sisters have threatened to take action over the continued presence of armed security operatives at his home in Magere, Wakiso District.

On Wednesday this week, a group of Bobi Wine’s close family members moved together to visit Barbie Kyagulanyi at the family residence. The group included Bajjo Man, Mike Wine, John Sentamu, Irene Kayemba, among others.

However, upon arrival, they were reportedly blocked by security operatives and ordered to leave the premises — a move that did not sit well with the family.

The relatives have since condemned the actions of the security personnel, describing their continued presence at the home as unfair and unjust.

They claim that Bobi Wine is being denied his constitutional rights and warned that they may take “extraordinary action” if the situation does not change.

“He is being denied his rights, the rights given to him by the constitution. It is so unfair for them to continue staying at his home. We shall have to do something extraordinary to get things right,” Bajjo Man said.

Bobi Wine is said to have remained away from his home as security operatives continue to maintain their presence at the Magere residence following the general elections.

The situation has further fueled tension between the opposition camp and state authorities, with supporters demanding the immediate withdrawal of security from the property.
